Rick
Dircks has been attending Epiphany since 2007, along with his wife, Robin, and daughters Maddie (14) and Morgan (12). Rick
is a native of Minnesota, but has lived in Arizona for over 30 years. Rick owns Dircks Moving Services in Phoenix. It is an
agent for Mayflower Van Lines and Rick specializes on the sales and marketing efforts of the company. Rick graduated from
Arizona State University and remains an avid ASU sports fan. He also tries to stay very involved with the community through
various groups. Rick is the President of the Board of Ministry and looks forward
to furthering the mission of Epiphany. He has been involved with the business side of the board, and has volunteered
for the Pumpkin Patch and the Consecrated Stewards program. Rick also participates in the adult education hour.

Rob and
his wife Amy have been active in ministries at Epiphany for more than ten years and work in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Rob is currently chair of the Pumpkin Patch and Fun Committees. He occasionally lends a hand during worship services.

Larry
and his wife Susan are long time residents of the Valley and moved to Gilbert in 1998 and have been attending Epiphany since
then. They have two children, Jamie age 12 and David age 8. Larry who grew up in the LCMS church, is a Vice President of Finance
for Apollo Group, Inc., the parent company for University of Phoenix and has been with them for 29 years. Larry is the
facilitator of the Sunday morning "Coffee and Cake" Bible study, sings in the Choir, is a member of Epiphany's
Ironmen, is the coach of Epiphany's Co-ed softball team and has been a past Board President.

In the Fall of 1977
after building a home in Chandler, Karen, husband Walt, and twin daughters began attending Epiphany. After
retiring as school nurse/Health Services Chairperson for Tempe Elementary District, Karen continued for four years with the
Arizona School Nurse Consortium as seminar planner, secretary, software trainer, and co-author of several sections of the
Arizona School Health Guidelines Manual for Registered Nurses. At Epiphany she has
served as congregational President, Child Care Center Board Chair, Stephen Minister and served on the Personnel Board, Constitution
and Bylaws Committee, and Employee Handbook revision committee Chair. Currently Karen serves on the Spiritual
Care Ministry Team and is their representative on the Board of Ministry Directors, the Ray of Light Preschool Board, continues
as an Assistant Minister, and edits THE STAR weekly newsletter. The Spiritual Care Ministry Team
is selected by the pastor to assist him in providing spiritual care. The Team’s focus this past year
has been guest assimilation and will expand to member retention this coming year.

Paul Beyer Adult Ministry Representative

A native of Wisconsin and lifelong Lutheran, Paul moved to Arizona in 1988 and made Epiphany his home shortly
after. He is a store manager at Walgreens and married to his wife Sue since 1989. We have 2 great kids, Janessa
currently enrolled at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN, and Brandon a senior at Chandler High School. Paul loves
watching sports especially the Cardinals, Suns, and Diamondbacks and of course the Packers. Paul has a special place
in his heart for adult ministries specifically ensureing that opportunites are provided for members to get into the word and
apply God's teaching to their life.

Jon Dhuse Youth Ministry Representative
|
|
Jon moved from Illinois to Arizona in 1981 to take a job as an engineer with Intel Corp, and started
attending Epiphany shortly after his arrival. Over the years, he has taught most grades of Sunday School,
but has served the longest with the High School youth. Jon was on the church board for 3 years in the late
90’s, serving in the role as Treasurer.
Jon is in his first
term on the board as representative for the Youth Ministry Team – he joined the board after the previous representative,
Pam VanDusen, accepted the position as director of the YMT.

Suzette Buron Children's Ministry
|
|
Suzette and her family (husband Tom and sons Tommy (22)
and Timmy (20)) have been attending Epiphany since 2007. Suzette
is a native of Illinois but has lived in Arizona for 17 years. Suzette works at Donor Network of Arizona as an Executive Assistant
for the CEO and CFO. Suzette graduated from Robert Morris College with a degree in accounting. At Epiphany she serves as an usher, Sunday school teacher, and director of Vacation Bible School. Suzette is in her first term representing the Children’s Ministry
Team.

Jim Snyder Preschool Representative
|
|
Jim and his wife Sonia have been attending Epiphany
since 2003. They have two children, Sophia and Ethan who have both in the past attended and graduated from the Ray Of
Light Preschool. Jim works as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant/Labor Market Consultant assisting with the
research, evaluation and job placement services for individuals with a potential loss of earnings capacity due to injury or
illness. Jim attended Illinois Institute of Technology where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation
Counseling. Jim is a facilitator for the
“East Valley Job Club” which is a small group that meets once per month with the goal of assisting those going
through a job search, job transition or even career advancement. Other outside interests of Jim’s include
running, music/drumming, along with spending time with his wife and two children in activities such as weekend jaunts, camping
and exploring of the beautiful state of Arizona.

Ed Upshaw Facilities Representative
|
Ed Upshaw is serving his first term as the facilities chair to help maintain and improve Epiphany's campus. Ed is a 24-year veteran of the Chandler Police Department. He holds the rank of Commander
and is currently assigned as the Precinct Commander of the Chandler Police Departments' Chandler Heights Substation. Ed is
very active in the Chandler Community currently serving as a member of the Chandler noon Kiwanis Club, the Chandler Coalition
of Youth against Substance Abuse and the ICAN Board of Directors. Ed
and his wife Cyndi have been members of Epiphany since 1992. Their daughters, Nicole and Erika, were baptized and confirmed
at Epiphany. Over the years, the family has served as church ushers and have participated in and volunteered for multiple
Vacation Bible Schools.

Carol Coon Member at Large

Carol & her family, husband Mike and children Sarah &
David, began worshipping at Epiphany in January of 1991 and have been involved in many areas of ministry. Carol
has participated in the Living Way Bible study and was the VBS Craft coordinator for several years. Carol
& Mike currently are part of the Choir. Carol
is beginning her 2nd year of a 2-year term as a Member at Large on the BMD. Carol is working to promote Epiphany's involvement in the Southeast Valley and particularly the
Chandler area organizations to reach out Christ's hands to our neighbors.

Danielle Jarczyk Member at Large

Danielle
was born and raised here in Arizona, growing up on the west side of town. She married her high school sweetheart, Doug,
and attended Arizona State University where she received degrees in Bioengineering and Computer Systems Engineering.
She now works part-time for Mitel as a Software Engineer. After hours, she enjoys cooking, writing, painting and playing
with her kids, Jordan and Derek. Danielle serves on the Board as the Strategic Ministry Plan (SMP) Liaison. During her
term she will evaluate, promote, and expand the SMP throughout the various ministries at Epiphany.
