Pastor Mark Rossington was installed at Epiphany on Sunday, June 18, 2006. He was formerly the
Senior Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church and Schools in Anaheim, CA.
Before becoming a pastor, Pastor Mark was a bartender at Disneyland's famous Club 33, and a waiter
& in-store trainer for TGI Fridays. He holds degrees from Concordia University Irvine, the Simon Greenleaf School of Law,
and Concordia Theological Seminary.
Pastor
Mark was the first chaplain to serve the City of Anaheim Fire Department. He is presently the Senior Chaplain
for the Rural/Metro Fire Department - Maricopa and Pinal County Operations. His love of "all things fire" is reflected
in his home office, which is decorated in a fire station theme.
A former competitive runner and cyclist, Pastor Mark enjoys water sports of any kind.
His iPod is filled with an eclectic collection of music – heavy metal, classic rock, country, rap, alternative
and classical. His favorite TV shows are currently Deadliest Catch and Pawn Stars. And his favorite movie
of all time is Rudy, although The Blind Side is a very close second.
Pastor Mark is married and has two young children. He and his family make their home in Chandler.
At Epiphany, Pastor Mark has a passion for guests and loves to teach our
Christianity 101 and Membership 101 classes. He is unwavering
in his support of the historic Christian faith and believes that only faith in Jesus Christ can enable a person to live
life to the fullest - both now and in eternity. While Pastor Mark is a strongly committed Christian, our guests find him to
be open-minded, non-judgmental and very easy to talk to.
