(check the youth calendar for breaks) Confirmation is a free two year program, taught by Mike
Coon, Wanna Goddard and a variety of helpers and guest speakers. It is an important part of our Lutheran Heritage and
provides an important Christian educational foundation for 7th and 8th graders. Confirmation students study
the basics of the meanings of the ten commandments as well as the Parables of Jesus, The Passion of Jesus, and the teachings
of the Apostle Paul. Along the way, students learn the meaning behind the Christian sacraments of Baptism
and Communion, and have the opportunity to proclaim their faith in a special confirmation service upon completion of the program.
This year's 8th grade class will be confirmed at our 11 am Sunday worship service on June 5, 2011.

High School Bible Study
9th to 12th Graders9:45 - 10:45 am each Sunday
Room 110 on Epiphany's South Campus
(Check the youth calendar for breaks) High School students today want solid
answers to their faith questions. Students also want to know how to use their faith to live better and
make a difference in the world. This fall and winter, we're embarking on a book study titled "Life's
Big Questions, God's Big Answers." Led by Jon Dhuse, this study explores questions related to evolution,
dinosaurs, and even other religions, like Islam and Mormonism. In January 2011, high school students break into two separate groups...Boys Only and
Girls Only. Boys Bible Study is led by Clint Fontaine and explores Godly answers to the struggles, questions,
problems and successes that high school boys face in today's world. Girls Bible Study is led by Valerie
Pomerenke and explores Godly answers to girl drama, friendships, growing up and understanding...relationships with boys.
