What We Believe

Epiphany Lutheran Church, as part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), is a mission-oriented, Bible-based, confessional Christian denomination.  Our historical roots go back to the Reformation and the work of Martin Luther.

For more information about our beliefs, check out the LCMS website that has the information you need to answer your questions. If it doesn’t, feel free to contact Pastor Mark at PastorMark@EpiphanyChandler.org. He loves answering any questions you may have about God, the church and any other issues or challenges you may have.

The LCMS Today

Today, the LCMS church has over 2.3 million baptized members in more than 6,100 congregations and over 9,000 pastors. We have two seminaries and 10 universities that are under the LCMS banner and we operate the largest Protestant parochial school system in the United States. We are serving in over 90 countries worldwide as active missionaries and, in the last five years alone, LCMS has awarded over $35 million for emergency and disaster response. And we perform this work only for the glory of God as we look to reflect His love to those around us.
